The real problem is above all how to publish it afterward on Newground ?

How the authors manage to publish their stories on the site, if you have any suggestions to give me, do not hesitate, it is to at least reassure me on how I will better organize my new project

A huge thank you for the 100 views for The Lost Home, a drawing which is part of the continuity of The Unsolved Case: Sarah White.

Actually, I would like to do a story about this character, but I have no idea what to do, I had to talk about it several times on discord, but The Lost Home offers several possibilities for a story that could go into all the directions.

A Twin Peaks-style delirium? a madness at MyHouse.wad?

Basically, when I created The Unsolved Case: Sarah White, I went into a frenzy at the House of Leaves, a huge internet influence for creating the SCP, which also influenced Backrooms afterward.

Anyway, a real mess that only the internet has the secret of creating from scratch, I have already directed and written stories on my own, but I would like to do something more ambitious, especially with NewGround which could offer me lots of creative possibility, without being bothered by censorship.

To summarize what I have in mind at the moment, it could still change in the meantime

The Lost Home tells the story of the disappearance of Sarah White, the last trace of life was in an abandoned house which caught fire, She had been accompanied by a friend, the latter mysteriously knows how to transform into a Robot.

The latter is awakened nowhere in a strange place, he will quickly learn that he is in an exclusion zone.

Sarah is still alive ?

Why be woken up in an exclusion zone?

For now, here's a quick and messy summary of the story, lately I learned about Stalker: Roadside Picnic.

I haven't read the book, nor seen the movie, let alone played the video games, I just watched a YouTube video talking about it and I found the idea really great.

But as I prefer to say, it's like distilling good alcohol, but without understanding how to make it, it's done on the fly, and add to that my ADHD and my dyslexia.

Writing a good story with sick ideas is cool, but with my level, it's an obstacle course, well, if I knew how to write well here, it's because I use an automatic translator, because yes... I'm French... I'm really faking down.

So... there's something I want to talk about, I don't know if you've ever published a Newgrounds link with another social network like Instagram, Twitter or Mastodon and... it looks like it suddenly there is a kind of bug that causes the view counter to jump.

For now, I hesitate to say thank you for this drawing, because I published it very recently and did not have time to look around the newground site.

Besides, I had already had the experience with The Unsolved Case: Sarah White

Since I wasn't going to publish everything on Instagram and other sites which are sometimes limited in text and that on Newgrounds, we can publish everything without text or image limits, well, I said to myself, I might as well put the link and people will see it, but suddenly, I had the view counter explode and that was my first shock, accustomed to 25 or 50 views for 2 or 3 weeks to arrive at this result which seems more "natural" to me

but as soon as the link is published outside Newgrounds, it explodes the entire view counter

I concentrate on a stupid detail, but, I don't care, as long as I publish my drawings, that's the most important, but I would like to have your opinion on if on your side, you also do sharing links of your own creations on other social networks and the result you have afterwards.

Thank you for the 100 views on a concept that I love to do. I draw so much that sometimes I have a little trouble telling myself which drawing will be published on the internet in an "official" way, but since I love sharing everything, I would like to share my “failed” or “WIP” drawings or the laziness of finishing it.

But also, I've been publishing drawings on the internet for a good number of years now, and so... a certain drawing that I published on Newground is just the surface of the iceberg, the rest, it's the abyss on many other sites with tons of abandoned posts, especially DeviantArt, the first site where I published my drawings, now, since I found it more practical and quick to publish my drawings, well, I abandoned DeviantArt.

When I publish a drawing, I don't think, even if now, I work better on the publication with text that tells a story, music with a YouTube link, but before, it was only in punk mode, no time to be stupid, in no time, it has to come out, because I have something else to do.

And so, this concept of lost ideas, well, it's either recent or old drawings that I haven't published on Newground or either WIPs or doodles of all kinds, all mixed together.

Thank you for liking my Liminal Space trilogy and the 100 views on Atmosphere.

Even though I had already worked on other drawings of the same type, it was nothing compared to these three.

These drawings were intended to work on something very different from the ones I was used to doing.

But while remaining within my basic ideas, the Liminal Space trilogy can be seen as a continuation of The Unsolved Case: Sarah White.

Or the story would be Vic looking for his missing friend in the Luminal Space/backroom who would have returned to the house where the disappearance had taken place and he would be projected into the Luminal Space/backroom.

Visiting abandoned places where time doesn't exist and right there, I could stop, it's just too ambitious and tried to appropriate the Backroom, it's like the SCP, they already have their own codes and If I made my version, people would come and shout like: Man, backrooms don't work like that. Go to wikis and fandom or watch Kane Pixels videos to better educate yourself, you uneducated peasant!

Lol and if I want to do my own artistic delirium, but even, it can go in all directions that I would have difficulty following.

Honestly, I was expecting fnaf fans to come out with torches and pitchforks, just for drawing of my character Vic bashing freddy's head in with a sledgehammer.

the state of mind when I made this drawing was really to let off steam on a license I don't like, but which has given me nightmares, there's a lot I actually love about Fnaf.

But it's more the fact that it's become too mainstream and that the general public only thinks of horror in terms of simple jumpscares, that it's the ultimate in horror.

But then, I understand that people love Fnaf, but for me, it made me relive my old traumas from the jumpscares of the 2000s. If you're familiar with the labyrinth with the exorcist's little girl, it's enough to make you feel old and scarred for life!

I think it will have the same generation of screameur and jumpscare trauma, but with Freddy

Anyway, thanks for the 100 views on a drawing I didn't expect to get any more attention than that, and thanks also to wonkenabi for his comment, it's always nice to talk to you, buddy.

the funniest thing about most of the drawings I publish is that they're often WIPs. I'd noted V1.0 and thought I'd do another colorful, Sgt Peeper-inspired version.

But as is often the case, I'm either lazy or lack the technique, patience or perhaps motivation, in fact, I don't know.

When I draw, I don't ask myself any questions, I just have an idea in my head and it has to be drawn straight away, for fear of forgetting a genius idea.

Anyway, I feel I'm repeating myself, in any case, thanks again for these 100 Views for an unfinished drawing and that anyway, I've moved on, BI BI to you and next post

I don't have any projects at the moment, I'd like to do some animation or create a new story, but I have no idea where to start and the only thing I have is to keep drawing.

HEyyyy, a big thank you for the 100 views for Apocreativity, a drawing with Gyöngyhajú lány are the ones that I am most proud of, because they are drawings where I really wanted to change my style a little and prove that I knew very well draw.

Above all, there is the text which completely lays the basis for the drawing. I really like to ask myself questions about what art has become on the internet these days, the kind of question that is not easy to have an answer given that certain no one will summarize with ease or I don't give a damn and avoid the subject.

How do artists get financed?

Etc etc... the list is really long.

I found it really very interesting, people were able to debate and without it going in all directions and with respect for everyone, it was very appreciable,

I'm thinking of something that I wanted to talk about in the previous post, I'm making posts to thank the Newground community for giving me 100 Views to each of my drawings, there soon, there will be Picture Book which will reach the 100 Views.

But... doesn't it upset you too much when I make this kind of post, because it's the only way I've found to show that I'm active on the site, maybe are there other things I can do to show that I'm active in NewGround?

Apart from posting my works and thanking you for all these views, I have no idea what I could do?

Holy cow, thanks again for the 100 views for... a drawing that basically came about during a nightmare.

The idea was to introduce people to the first film by Trey Parker, the creator of South Park with his buddy Matt Stone, co-creator of the show and playing one of the roles in the film.

The idea of a musical about a cannibal was a daring one, but boy, it's just enormous, and I was really fascinated by this almost amateurish film.

When I did the drawing, I'd had a nightmare, I woke up very early, and I couldn't get back to sleep, so I turned on the PC, put on the film and did a drawing with the film in the background, when I'd finished the drawing, I looked out of the window with dawn breaking.

I thought straight away of the music at the beginning, Shpadoinkle, and I think I was very happy to have made this drawing and published it afterwards.
